Introduction
Kathryn Ann is a friend of Sandwich Community Radio who has been assisting the station with programing some more current tunes for our newest program, Contemporary Cuts. You can hear her playlists on Saturday nights at 7pm or anytime you want from this archive.
Kathryn Ann began music lessons at age nine and currently plays the oboe, piano, and synthesizer. In addition to playing in her high school’s band, jazz band, and in the student ministry band at her church, she has also played in local and regional honor bands, and has been accepted into a local youth symphony orchestra. She hopes to continue playing music in college next year.
While she grew up in the South, her musical interests span the globe crossing multiple genres and generations. KA enjoys listening to Indy Music, instrumental music, and classical music like her favorites Mozart and Handel. She loves collecting vinyl records and rummaging through vintage albums to add to her collection.
